Troopers Respond To Multiple Cars On Fire In South Boston Tunnel

Just after 4PM today, State Police responded to a reported vehicle fire on the L ramp from I-93 northbound to I-90 eastbound in Boston. 

Responding Troopers determined three vehicles were involved in the fire. 

The L ramp, (HOV eastbound ramp), and Frontage Road ramp are closed. 

MassDOT crews are going to evaluate any possible damage to roadway structures.

Several individuals have been treated for smoke inhalation.
