Troopers, New Bedford Officers Team With Hope Evangelical Church to Deliver Thanksgiving Meals

This past Tuesday, Troopers from our Troop D Community Action Team, along with members of the New Bedford Police Department, made their way to Hope Evangelical Community Church in Dartmouth, where they helped prepare 30 boxes containing Thanksgiving meals, as well as items to make a proper breakfast the morning after day.

The next day, Troopers and Officers delivered the meals to the Presidential Heights Housing in New Bedford, the second straight year they’ve done so.  We thank Hope Evangelical Church for providing the meals and making this event possible. A special thanks also to the Presidential Heights Resident Services Manager for identifying recipients.
