Troopers Join Cops for Kids with Cancer to Boost Spirit of Boy

This week, Massachusetts State Troopers Matthew Johnson and Jorell Berberena assigned to the Troop H Community Action Team participated in an impromptu parade of emergency vehicles for Colin, a young man battling Ewing Sarcoma for the second time in two years. State and local law enforcement recognized Colin’s enthusiasm for our public safety mission and wanted to boost his spirits during his ongoing treatment in Boston.

Cops for Kids with Cancer have supported Colin and his family during this difficult time as part of its mission to protect and assist our most innocent and vulnerable constituents: children. In its 22 years of existence, the organization has delivered $5.6 million of assistance to more than families of childhood cancer warriors. Visit www.copsforkidswithcancer.org to learn more.
