State Police Searching for Missing Lynn Man

The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit for Suffolk County is investigating the disappearance of Dickson “Joel” De Los Reyes, 24, of Lynn, who did not return to his home after leaving a party in Chelsea early on the morning of June 11.

Evidence indicates that De Los Reyes got into a LYFT ride share vehicle in front of 168 Shurtleff St., Chelsea, at 3:42 AM on Sunday, June 11. The LYFT ride was terminated at approximately 3:56 AM on the same date. Upon termination of the ride, De Los Reyes’ cell phone number dialed 911 and was connected to Revere Police. The call disconnected and several attempts to call the number back by police were unsuccessful. Evidence indicates the call was made from the area of American Legion Highway in Revere. De Los Reyes has not been seen nor heard from since.

Subsequent attempts by State Police to determine the phone’s location had negative results, suggesting the phone is off.

De Los Reyes is a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing the clothes depicted in the photograph from a city of Chelsea surveillance camera, which appear to be black pants, a black vest, a white long-sleeve shirt and white sneakers.
