State Police Respond to Potential Criminal Act on Flight

At approximately 10 AM today (Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023) Massachusetts State Police were notified by American Airlines of an potential criminal act that had occurred on American Flight 1441, which was en route to Boston from Charlotte, N.C. Upon its arrival, the plane was met by MSP Troop F patrols and detectives, who initiated an investigation that determined that the alleged act in question occurred mid-flight. Potential crimes that occur mid-flight fall under federal jurisdiction, thus federal authorities have asserted said jurisdiction over this matter. As such, the MSP, which is assisting federal authorities, will have no further comment at this time.
