State Police Investigating Forklift Accident at Logan Airport

Massachusetts State Police patrols, detectives, and crime scene personnel are currently investigating an accident involving a forklift operator at Logan Airport. The operator, a male, suffered life-threatening injuries and has been transported to Boston Medical Center. 


The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 PM in a loading area outside Terminal C, a location where there is no public access.


Preliminary investigation indicates that part of the forklift struck a stationary structure, causing the forklift to overturn on top of the victim. 


The employee works for a sub-contractor that was working for JetBlue. 


The investigation is active. No further information is being released at this time. We will update when appropriate.
