PHOTO RELEASE--United States Marshal Brian Kyes and Assistant Chief Deputy United States Marshal Matt Lawlor of the USMS District of Massachusetts recently visited Massachusetts State Police General Headquarters in Framingham to thank the MSP's Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) for its assistance in Operation We Will Find You. The 10-week national initiative focused on 16 geographic locations across the US, including Massachusetts, that have areas with high clusters of critically missing children. Nationwide, Operation We Will Find You resulted in the recovery of 169 endangered missing children and the location and confirmation of safety of 56 others. The children recovered or located included runaways and those abducted by non-custodial persons. In addition to Operation We Will Find You, MSP VFAS Troopers and Deputy US Marshals routinely work together to track fugitives wanted for committing violent crimes in Massachusetts and beyond.
