MSP Divers Recover Body from Neponset River, Investigation Ongoing

At 9:10 AM today (Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024) Massachusetts State Police patrols, detectives, and specialized units responded to the banks of the Neponset River, in the area of the Neponset Valley Yacht Club, off Granite Avenue in Milton after a partially submerged body was observed. MSP divers recovered the body shortly after 11 AM. The decedent appears to be an adult male.

The investigation into the facts and circumstances of the man’s death will be conducted by the State Police Detective Unit for Norfolk County with assistance from the MSP Crime Scene Services Section and the state’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The scene was cleared at 11:37 AM.
