On August 14, the Massachusetts State Police Dive Team partnered with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office to organize an adaptive swim program for neurodivergent children and their families.
We know from the CDC that kids with autism are 160 times more likely to drown than their peers. For this reason, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan engaged instructors from our team as well as Swim Angelfish to equip participants with skills to safely enjoy beaches, pools, and bodies of water across Massachusetts. Thank you to the many contributors who made this program possible.
