Members of Legislature Visit State Police Academy

Yesterday, we welcomed members of the legislature and their staff to our State Police Academy in New Braintree.

The program provided an opportunity to see the recruit training troop made possible by the state budget. The day began with a wide ranging conversation where members of the Command Staff answered questions about the Academy, recruiting the next generation of law enforcement professionals who reflect the communities they serve, and equipping them to succeed in their careers. Participants then had the opportunity to observe trainees across the campus developing skills in a variety of role playing scenarios.

It was a fantastic experience, and we appreciate each member taking time to be with us.
