Dog Day at Bromfield High in Harvard


It was a day for the dogs on Tuesday, May 9 at Bromfield High School in Harvard, when Trooper Meghann Benesh of the Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crime Unit and her Electronic Storage Detection dog Griffin, along with Harvard Police Detective Daniele Fortunato and her Assistance Dog Dusty, came for a visit. Trooper Benesh and Detective Fortunato provided information to 11th and 12th graders about Internet safety, risk reduction, self-awareness, and cyber crimes. and her On today’s date, ESD K-9 Griffin and I visited Bromfield High School in Harvard. The students were also treated to a K9 demonstration with Griffin and Dusty. As the MSP's Electronic Storage Detection assigned to Trooper Benesh in the Cyber Crime Unit, Griffin is trained in sniffing out electronic devices that a suspect might try to hide in a residence or vehicle.
