MSP TO PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY AT MILLBURY BARRACKS SATURDAY

This upcoming Saturday, April 30, the Massachusetts State Police will participate in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, as well as to educate people about the potential for abuse of medications.

MSP Troopers will be located at the Millbury Barracks on 367 Greenwood St, Millbury, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the conference room, to collect unused prescription drugs from community members.

Additionally, we are partnering with Addiction Response Resources to distribute NARCAN and provide education on how to respond to an overdose. Founded in 2020, Addiction Response Resources provides training, consulting, and innovative programs that prevent overdoses and support people with substance use disorders.
