National Faith & Blue

The Massachusetts State Police, faith-based organizations, and community members will gather to support law enforcement on Monday, Oct. 11 as part of the national Faith & Blue initiative. The shared goal of the event is to build bridges and break biases.

The Faith & Blue event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Troop A Headquarters, 485 Maple St., Danvers.

Faith & Blue is a national initiative that was formed to facilitate safer, stronger, more unified communities by enhancing partnerships among law enforcement professionals, residents, businesses and community groups through the connections of local faith-based organizations.

According to the initiative’s web site, “Communities are stronger and safer when residents and law enforcement professionals can relate as ordinary people with shared values, hopes, and dreams. The partners who are a part of National Faith & Blue Weekend believe we can find ways to work together around our many commonalities instead of being divided by our differences.”

The MSP’s Faith & Blue event is being coordinated by Trooper David Rameau, a member of the Department’s Community Liaison Team and a Minister.

Please join us Monday for this inspiring event.
