Governor Charlie Baker and Colonel Christopher Mason, Superintendent of the Massachusetts State Police will hold a press conference tomorrow at the Massachusetts State Police Training Academy to provide an update on numerous reforms underway at the Department.
Prior to the press conference, the Governor will briefly address the members of the MSP’s 85th Recruit Training Troop, currently in the second of 23 weeks of training to become MSP Troopers. Media will be allowed to view that address.
The address to the Recruits and subsequent briefing will be held at the Massachusetts State Police Academy, 340 West Brookfield Road, New Braintree, at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 16). Media should drive to the front parking area at the Academy compound, from where a member of the Academy staff will direct them to drive to the gymnasium building, where the event is being held.
