State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Freetown

At approximately 8:40 p.m. today Troopers assigned to State Police-Dartmouth responded to multiple reports of a crash on Route 24 northbound South of Exit 10 in Freetown.

Upon the arrival of Troopers they discovered 3 vehicles involved with multiple injuries, one of which was life-threatening. Freetown Fire and EMS responded to the scene and quickly determined this individual to be deceased.

The crash remain in the preliminary phase of investigation. No other information is available at this time.

Troopers were assisted on scene by MassDOT, Bristol County State Police Detective Unit, Crime Scene Services Section, and Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section.
