Four Arrested for Trafficking Cocaine in Greenfield

Early yesterday morning, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Trooper Michael Leslie, who is assigned to the State Police Shelburne Falls Barracks, stopped a 2007 Ford 500 sedan on I-91 northbound, just north of Exit 27 in Greenfield for motor vehicle violations.
As a result of an investigation, the four occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of approximately 63 grams of cocaine. The driver was identified as KIMBERLY LAWRENCE, 41, of Brownington Vermont, the passengers were identified as KITTY L. GODIN, 38, of Derby Vermont, ISMAEL GARCIA, 25, and CHRISTOPHER ORELLANO, 25, both of Springfield.

With the assistance of Greenfield Officers Rowell and Griffin, as well as Franklin County House of Correction Captain Scott Waldron and his K-9 partner Uno, all four were taken into custody for the drug offenses and subsequently transported to the State Police Shelburne Falls Barracks for booking.

KIMBERLY LAWRENCE was charged with the following offenses:
                1.            Trafficking in cocaine
                2.            Conspiracy to violate drug law
                3.            Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle
                4.            Registration sticker missing

KITTY L. GODIN was charged with the following offenses:
                1.            Trafficking in cocaine
                2.            Conspiracy to violate drug law
                3.            Allowing unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle

ISMAEL GARCIA was charged with the following offenses:
                1.            Trafficking in cocaine
                2.            Conspiracy to violate drug law
                3.            Arrestee furnish false name/SSN
                4.            Warrant

CHRISTOPHER ORELLANO was charged with the following offenses:
                1.            Trafficking in cocaine
                2.            Conspiracy to violate drug law

GARCIA was held without bail as he already had a default warrant issued for his arrest. The remaining three were held on $50,000 bail each and all are scheduled for arraignment in Greenfield District Court today.
