Update Correct Name Spelling: MSP Arrest’s Two Men Involved In Road Rage Incident On The MA Pike

Updated Spelling: The correct spelling for the man on the hood is RICHARD KAMROWSKI

January 25, 2019 – At approximately 4:43 p.m.  this evening the Weston Barracks received several calls reporting a man on the hood of a white SUV traveling on Route 90 Westbound in Weston. Troopers responding found several citizens had managed to get the SUV to stop without injuries.

Initial investigation by Trooper Glenn Witaszek indicate that two men got in a minor sideswipe crash approximately three miles East of where the SUV a 2016 Infiniti QX70. At some point one of the men ended up on the hood of the SUV. The SUV then traveled at speeds up to 70 MPH, stopping and then accelerating again when the man on the hood did not get off.  Both men were placed under arrest.

The Driver of the SUV MARK FITZGERALD a 37-year-old man from Lynn was charged with:

  1. Assault with a dangerous weapon
  2. Negligent operation of a Motor Vehicle
  3. Leaving the scene of a property damage accident

The man on the hood RICHARD KAMROWSKI a 65-year-old man from Framingham was charged with:

  1. Disorderly conduct
