Massachusetts State Police Media Release – 08102018 – Motorcycle Crash Kills Man from Red Bank, New Jersey

This morning, at approximately 11:35 a.m., troopers from the State Police Weston and Framingham Barracks responded to the ramp from I-90 (Exit 14) to I-95 northbound at the Newton-Weston town line, for reports of a motorcycle crash.

Upon arrival, Trooper Patrick Marks discovered that a 2014 Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide, driven by a 80-year-old man from Red Bank, New Jersey, had for reasons still under investigation, lost control and left the roadway, rolling the tricycle. The man was transported to Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Newton by Weston EMS, where he was pronounced deceased.

During the incident, one lane of traffic was closed on the ramp.

The remaining facts and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by troopers assigned to the State Police Weston Barracks. Troop H Headquarters, State Police Crime Scene Services Section (CSSS), State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section (CARS), Newton Fire Department, Newton EMS, and Weston EMS all assisted on scene.
