Massachusetts State Police Media Release—04062017—Two Arrested for Trafficking Heroin

Yesterday, at about 11:55 pm, Trooper Kyle Reed assigned to the State Police Barracks in Milton was on patrol in the town of Milton when he observed a gray Saturn Ion commit motor vehicle violations.  Trooper Reed subsequently stopped the vehicle, which contained two occupants, in the area of Blue Hill Avenue at Mattapan Square.

As a result of an investigation and subsequent search of the vehicle and front passenger, 63 grams of heroin as well as evidence consistent with the sale and distribution of narcotics was located.

Boston Police Officer Liam Hawkins and his K9 Rush assisted at the scene.

The operator identified as ANDREW PRUNIER, 28, of East Wareham and his passenger identified as WILLIAM COLLEARY, 41, of Wareham were placed under arrest and transported to the Milton Barracks where they were booked and held pending their arraignment today in Quincy District Court.

ANDREW PRUNIER was criminally charged with the following offenses:

-Trafficking in Heroin;

-Possession to Distribute Class A;

-Being Present where Heroin kept; and

-Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law.

He was also issued a Massachusetts Civil Citation for Fail to Stop/Yield and No Inspection Sticker

WILLIAM COLLEARY was criminally charged with the following offenses:

-Trafficking in Heroin;

-Possession to Distribute Class A;

-Being Present where Heroin kept; and

-Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law.

He was also issued a Massachusetts Civil Citation for Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.
