Massachusetts State Police Media Release – 090416 – Body Recovered from Muddy River
Today, at approximately 2:30 p.m., troopers assigned to the State Police Boston Barracks responded along with Boston Police to reports of a body in the Muddy River, under the Bowker overpass. Boston Fire removed the body from the water, where the man was determined to be deceased.
The man has not yet been identified. State Police Crime Scene Services Section (CSSS), Boston Police, Fire and EMS, State Medical Examiner’s Office all assisted on scene.
