Massachusetts State Police Media Release – 04082015 – State Police Arrest Two in Boston on Gun & Drug Charges
Today at about 1:45 p.m., Trooper Thomas Hanlon observed a 2010 Nissan Maxima traveling on Prentiss Street in the area of Parker Street in Boston with illegal window tint. Additionally, the operator failed to use his turn indicator while turning. Trooper Hanlon stopped the vehicle and determined that the operator, 25-year-old HUMBERTO DAVID of Cambridge, had a suspended license. A subsequent investigation resulted in the discovery of a stolen handgun, a quantity of marijuana, and items commonly associated with drug distribution.
DAVID and his passenger, 25-year-old VANNESSA HENRIQUEZ of Cambridge, were both placed under arrest for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Possession of Marijuana With Intent To Distribute. HUMBERTO was additionally charged with Operating After Suspension, Excessive Window Tint, and Failure To Use a Directional. Both were booked at the State Police Barracks in Boston. DAVID was held on $250,000.00 bail and HENRIQUEZ was held on $25,000.00 bail, pending arraignment in Roxbury District Court.
