7 Arrests Made by MSP at Protests in Boston

After an assessment and review of last night’s crowd control and law enforcement actions taken by the Massachusetts State Police at the Boston demonstrations, we have revised our number of arrests upward. In all, state troopers arrested a total seven protesters.

Three adult women were arrested in front of the State House when they attempted to storm the closed front gate on Beacon Street. They were charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Additionally, four adult males were arrested on the Massachusetts Turnpike after protesters briefly gained access to the eastbound side of that highway near Exit 24 and blocked traffic. They were charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing.

These are State Police arrests only. They do not include any arrests other police agencies may have made.
