Massachusetts State Police Media Release–100514–State Police Arrest Lynn Man for Trafficking in Cocaine


On October 3rd at approximately 1:45 p.m., Trooper Thomas Hannon of the Boston Barracks was on patrol on the Riverway in the area of Longwood Avenue in Boston when his attention was drawn to a 2005 Nissan Maxima which committed numerous moving violations in a short time period.  As a result of a motor vehicle stop and subsequent investigation by Trooper Hannon, the operator of the vehicle, 28 year-old JOSE LANDESTOY of Lynn, MA, was arrested and charged with the following:


  1. Trafficking in Class B Narcotics – Cocaine
  2. Possession of Class B Narcotics with Intent to Distribute
  3. Marked Lanes Violation
  4. Unsafe Lane Change
  5. Fail to Use Turn Signal
  6. Speeding


LANDESTOY remains in custody on $50,000 bail.  He is scheduled to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on Monday.
