State Police Respond to Crash on Route 57 in Agawam
On September 13, 2014 at about 10:55 pm, State Police from the Springfield Barracks responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Route 57 in Palmer.
Information from the investigation conducted by Trooper Corey Choruzek indicates that 21-year-old Chrystina Tillinghast of Palmer was traveling eastbound on Route 57 when she was rear ended by a Honda motorcycle operated by 32-year-old Benjamin Bryant of Southwick. As a result of the crash, Tillinghast and Bryant were both transported to Bay State Medical Center for treatment of minor and serious injuries, respectively. Additionally, Bryant was charged with Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Speeding, and Operating Without Lights.
