State Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Revere

Massachusetts State Police Media Release – 07102014 – State Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Revere

 

Last evening at approximately 4:25 p.m., troopers from the Revere Barracks responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash, involving a motorcycle, on Route 16 Eastbound at the Route 107 off-ramp in Revere.  Initial reports reported that the operator of the motorcycle, a 2006 Yamaha YZFR1, for reasons under investigation, lost control and crashed while attempting to exit.

 

The motorcycle operator, LEON CHUN, 21, of Revere was transported by Cataldo Ambulance to Mass General Hospital where he was determined to be deceased as a result of the injuries sustained from the crash.

 

The remaining facts and circumstances of the crash are currently under investigation by troopers from the State Police Revere Barracks.  Chelsea Fire Department, Cataldo Ambulance and MBTA Police assisted at the scene.
