On Wednesday, March 19th at approximately 10:00 p.m. , Trooper Noah Pack stopped a Buick Century for motor vehicle violations on Route 91 North in Holyoke.

After speaking with both the operator and passenger during the stop Trooper Pack discovered they were transporting approximately 1,400 packets of Heroin back to Vermont.

The Operator, NICOLE FARONE, 41, of South Wallingford, Vermont was taken into custody and charged with trafficking in heroin, marked lanes violation, conspiracy to violate the drug laws and knowingly being present where Heroin is being kept.

The passenger, KASEY COTA, 23, of Rutland Vermont was issued a summons to appear in Northampton District Court for charges of drug possession and conspiracy.

FARONE was held on $5,000 USC until her arraignment in Northampton District Court.
