Massachusetts State Police Media Release–121413–Motor Vehicle Crash on Rt.16 in Medford with Minor Injury

 

Today at approximately 1:30pm, Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Medford Barracks responded to the scene of a three vehicle crash on Rt.16 East in Everett involving a school bus, and SUV and a minivan.  A juvenile female who was on the school bus and the operator of the minivan, a 37 year old male from Everett, were transported to Whidden Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Everett Fire/Rescue Department also assisted at the scene.  The two right lanes were closed for approximately twenty minutes, with no significant impact on traffic.  The facts and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time.
