Massachusetts State Police Statement On New York City Attack

The Massachusetts State Police Homeland Security Division continues to coordinate with the Boston FBI office to monitor developments in the investigation into this afternoon’s terrorist attack in New York City. At this point in the investigation, intelligence has not indicated any connection to Massachusetts from today’s attack. Also, at this time there are no known credible terrorist threats to this state. We will continue to share information with our local law enforcement partners and our citizens as appropriate. Massachusetts State Troopers in the field always maintain a high level of alertness and situational awareness for any suspicious activity. As always, members of the public who see or hear anyone or anything suspicious are urged to call 911 immediately.
